National Science Education Standards Alignment

How do the contents of each issue align with the National Science Education Standards? We've created two tables - one for grades K-4 and the other for grades 5-8 that show the alignment to the science content standards. These tables reflect the content found in each issue's Science Content Knowledge, Science and Literacy Lessons and Activities, and Feature Story articles. We've also chosen to include only the standards that aligned with more than 50% of the content in an issue. Many issues' content does, in fact, address other standards through a single lesson or resource.
